COMMUNICATIONS
Every business faces the threat of a crisis involving its products, business partners, employees, or facilities. Before a crisis hits, 70 Douglass Communications will work with you to consider potential scenarios, develop your communications plan, train key spokespeople, and enhance your crisis preparedness. When a crisis develops, we provide experienced counsel and a calming influence to support your team, develop communications for key constituencies and help you develop long-term plans to rebuild the public’s trust.
Legislators, consumers and interest groups are increasingly vocal about issues that can affect your business. We will work with your company to identify and prioritize the external issues that most impact your business and develop strategies to proactively address them. 70 Douglass Communications will develop talking points and position papers, identify key stakeholders and help you build coalitions to support your business, legislative or regulatory agenda.
When you have an opportunity to tell your side of the story to a reporter, your employees or a key stakeholder, 70 Douglass Communications will prepare you to do so effectively. We will help you focus on your key messages, anticipate and respond to difficult questions and tailor your communications style to your audience. We have extensive experience preparing senior executives and communications staff for media interviews, external and internal presentations and challenging conversations.
If your organization wants to build relationships with national or local media or is looking for a spokesperson to represent its interests, 70 Douglass Communications will assist you. We can tell your story more effectively to key journalists, serve as your spokesperson, and leverage our network of media contacts on your behalf.
Whether you are launching a new product, fighting a proposal in the legislature or closing a factory, 70 Douglass Communications will develop comprehensive communications plans for multiple audiences and media.
If you are introducing a new business initiative or changing your corporate structure, 70 Douglass Communications will help you communicate your plans to investors, trade partners, the business media and others who have an interest in your organization. We will also develop and execute investor relations programs to support your objectives.
When your organization is involved in a lawsuit, mitigating the impact on your reputation and winning in court should not be mutually exclusive goals. We will work with your lawyers to develop a strategy to protect your reputation while supporting your objectives in the courts.
In a dynamic environment, it can be challenging to keep your employees informed and aligned with your strategies. We develop comprehensive communications programs to increase employee understanding of key business strategies and to help them manage through change.
Whether your goal is thought leadership, making news, or persuading investors, customers or employees, we will write or edit your speech, improve your presentation and prepare your executives to succeed.
Our experienced team has a track record of success developing communications strategies to address challenges on Wall Street, Main Street and at the Capitol.
